Low profile and high power; theatre stage infill, delay system or high fidelity front of house. The HPI25 can fulfil a multiplicity of high end audio roles without compromise. The coverage pattern of the HPI25 can be classified as short to mid throw of a wide frequency range extending into the mid bass area. Voice intelligibility is high making the HPI25 suitable for venues where both spoken word and music program is required. Wall and ceiling mounting is possible with an optional "U" bracket and maintaining a low visual profile for discrete installation and minimum interference with sightlines.
The sound signature of the HPI25 has been created in line with the entire range of Quest HPI systems making it the perfect companion to a larger HPI system. The HPI25 can function well without the aid of a dedicated system processor or extensive EQ correction. A full-range system can be created with the addition of an optional subwoofer (HPI12S).
The HPI25 is available in black (HPI25) or white (HPI25W) low sheen finish.
Specialised 5" ultra high powered drivers were developed for both the HPI5 and 25. The passive crossover system is a quasi 3-way to minimise midrange interference between resulting in a very smooth response in the vocal range. The HPI25 high frequency section comprises a proprietary 3/4 inch horn driver matched to a custom designed and rotatable high frequency horn.
A mid bass rear port will give the system a little extra projection when the HPI25 is wall mounted. Best results are obtained if the system is high passed at 75-80 Hz but the high excursion drivers can function with full range program without problems.
The Quest UB-HPI25, UB1-OMA or UB2-OMA mounting kits make for an easy wall or ceiling installation.

An added benefit with the HPI25 design is the capacity to relocate all the transducer components to suit the audio application. The HF horn can be moved to the centre and rotated to horizontal dispersion to suit a theatre infill or delay or alternatively the system can have the 5" drivers located together to increase directivity for added "throw". The horn can be located also at the top or the base of the cabinet for precise control of HF coverage.
The HPI25 is the culmination of three years of combined research and development by a design team determined to release a loudspeaker product that would be an uncontested class leader in power, performance and functionality.
Like all things Quest, our vision was to create a product that embodied our core beliefs:, performance, practicality, value and reliability. The HPI25 is the culmination of these efforts.
The HPI25 takes a lot of power for it's size. Quest Engineering recommends an amplifier capable of delivering 320-500W (nominal) to ensure full performance. The perfect solution are Quest's QM1000P, QA1004 or the QA2004
